Biography

● Born in Dessouk, Kafr EI- Sheikh 1948.

● Graduated at the faculty of Fine Arts., Alexandria University, painting Dept., 1973.

● Journalist, Rose AI- Youssef (Egyptian weekly) 1973-1975.

● Technical Specialist in the General Organization for cultural palaces, 1975-1980.

● Cover drawing for "Egyptian Tales", American University, 1986.

● Scholarship Sponsored by Egyptian government 1989-1993.

● Nagui Museum Director, 1993-1995.

● Scholarship, National Center for Fine Arts Rome, 1994.

● Member of jury for "salon of youth", 1996-2000.

● Participated at "Aica" workshop held in Egypt, 1997.

● Works used as literature book covers by the general organisation for culture palaces (15

books), April 1999.

● Director of the egyptian contemporary art museum 2000-2002.
