Alia Issa, born in Alexandria, Egypt. Demonstrator in Faculty of Fine Arts (Graphic Department), Alexandria University.
With roots belonging to country side, specifically El Behira, which is where I found my inspiration from nature and country rural life. Later on, I found myself drawing symbols and abstract objects like heliography letters , and after this I started to inspire my drawings from the Ancient Egyptian life specifically the storytelling on the ceilings and walls of Saqqara tombs. Several stories are repeated till now in country life, as if I am seeing what happens in farmer’s daily work in the drawing walls of this tombs.
