Isabella Tirelli Dan (born in Reggio Emilia ) is an artist graduated in architecture : she expresses  herself  through painting, sculpture, performance, video and interactive video  creatings  works always oriented towards a spirituality from the symbolic alchemy world. She is currently working on a video "In the Footsteps of the Goddess" that suggests images of a new world steeped in feminist thought, as advocated by the Dalai Lama in his "Letter to Women". She has exhibited in Paris, Madrid, Hamburg, Cairo, London, Berlin, Tel Aviv, Beijing, Calcutta, Vilnius, and of course in Rome where she teaches painting at the Academy of Fine Arts..

She financed her studies -  first at the arts high school in Bologna, then at the Technical University and the Academy of Brera in Milan - she worked as a model for the best fashion magazines including Vogue. She started to work as a visual artist in 1984 for the Centre George Pompidou in Paris and after various experiences in 1989 she was requested to transform in pictorial image a scientific element  for the National Institute of Nuclear Physics of the Gran Sasso (INFN).
