**Born:** Assiut, May 1, 1938. Graduate of the School of Fine Arts, majoring in painting, Helwan University. He holds philosophical studies in Fine Arts at Johns Hopkins University, USA, 1984. Member of the Syndicate of Plastic Artists.
- Professor at the Faculty of Fine Arts, Painting Department, Helwan University. Visiting Professor at Washington State University, USA, 1994. Fully seconded from Helwan University to South Valley University since 1995.
- Professor of Painting and Drawing at the Faculty of Fine Arts in Cairo and Luxor, and Dean of the Faculty of Fine Arts in Cairo, 1998. Worked on a full-time grant starting July 1, 1999, for his internal work to obtain his Master's degree from the Faculty of Fine Arts, 1974.
