
Ahmed Atef Gaafary is an Egyptian visual artist who lives and works in Cairo. He graduated from the Faculty of Media at Cairo University and studied Fine Arts in the evening classes at the Faculty of Fine Arts in Zamalek.
He has exhibited his work in over 150 group exhibitions in Egypt and various countries including Germany, Brazil, Italy, Morocco, Lebanon, the United States, London, Norway, and Dubai.
He has also exhibited in galleries such as Gallery Safar Khan, Gallery Al-Asima, Gallery Ebdaa, Gallery Funoon, Gallery Gojan, Gallery Nile, Capital Art Gallery, Gallery Yassin, and Wadi Finaan art Gallery.
He has held approximately nine solo exhibitions, including at the Attejah Hall in the Palace of Arts at the Cairo Opera House, the Museum of Modern Egyptian Art, Gallery Safar Khan, Capital Art Gallery, and Nile Art Gallery.
He also participated in the Cairo Art Fair from the first to the third editions. He exhibited his works at the Trio Biennale in Rio de Janeiro, Brazil, and the Oslo Short Film Festival in Norway. His paintings have been displayed at Christie’s auction houses in London and Dubai.
