2006 - Graduate of Moscow State Open Pedagogical Sholokhov University, Art and Graphic Faculty, with a degree in Visual Arts

2001 - Graduate of Moscow School of Decorative Handcraft (now  the High School of National Art), Profession - Ornamental Art.

Regularly taking part in different art projects, plein air, art colonies, symposiums and exhibitions around world .

Held more than 150 local and international group exhibitions between 2003 and 2021.

Held several solo exhibitions, including selected "I Will Show You Russia" - F.A. Gallery, Taiwan, Taipei and the  recently passed solo exhibition “Vital Painting” in the Gallery of fine art of the Moscow Union of Artists,  Moscow.

Juliya has been participated in more than 30 local and international workshops and symposiums in Russia, China, Jordan, Egypt, India, Montenegro, Serbia, Macedonia, Abkhazia, Belarus, Italy, Turkiye, Uzbekistan, Azerbaijan.

Juliya Zhukova’s paintings can be found in 10 state museums in Russia, Belarus and public and private collections around world.

Art motto:

"Nature is my primary source of inspiration. I strive to perceive and convey the unique image of nature, its inimitable light and color nuances, and its mood.

Working en plein air, I am to grasp the perfection of the surrounding world.

This is the essence of my art.

I work with nature and travel frequently. My numerous plein-air expeditions, especially to the Far North, form the foundation of my creativity.”
