His works were later part of the group exhibition held later in Hamburg.

Kervin followed a normal education in the last years of the Apartheid regime, matriculated in 1986. His love of visual art and observation of people at work and play developed through his school years. He quickly learnt to use his talent to express himself in truly mixed media, often including sculpture.
One of his greatest fortunes is to have Selwyn Pekeur (his old school teacher) as his mentor in life and art.
In 1999 Kervin travelled to Germany to attend a painting and sculpture workshop – this greatly influenced his style and use of material and colour.Publications:
