1975 marks a crucil step in my life:  I was already conquered by the passion for drawing and painting.

During my school academic days, art has remained my favourit subject in which I have constantly been excelling. I ended my Cambridge School Certificate and Higher School Certificate with a first grade in art and first in Mauritius.

I persued my tirtiary education in graphic arts in Malaysia and I have been working in the field for 25 years. I am a creative person who has devoted a lot of my time in advetising and design.

Today I am a full time artist, who  have both solo and group international exhibitions under my brush. Most of his works bear a tint of Mauritian nostalgia. I practice mainly in soft pastels. I am a

member of L’Art du Pastel en France, the Pastel Society of Eastern Canada, the Pastel Society of Spain, and the Pastel Society of Taiwan.

My works have already reached other shores like the USA, France, UK. Croatia, Malaysia, Singapore, Dubai, etc I hold several awards for my outstanding pastel works. I have been honorably awarded “Master Pastel Artist” by l’Art du Pastel en France in 2012 and by the Pastel Society of Eastern Canada. Ii was also  the guest of honour for 2012 event in Giverny France, 2016 in Toulouse,  2018 in Quabec Canada and 2023 in Brttany, France.
